Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Reference formatting

We seem to have a bit of confusion in the references for Auditory processing disorder. Just so you know (because I know that Wikipedia is an unbelievably complicated place), we try to stick with whatever referencing style an article is already using. So if an article is using clickable footnotes (with the <ref> tags), then you put your ref information at the end of a sentence, inside the tags, like this:

This is a sentence.<ref>Smith, John. 2009. ''The nature of sentences.'' p. 12</ref>

If the article is already using parenthetical references, then you add a short identifier at the end of the sentence, and then list the full citation at the end of the article, like this:

This is a sentence (Smith 2009:12).

==References==

* Smith, John. 2009. ''The nature of sentences.''

with the overall goal of making things match throughout the article. If you're the first person to add a reference to an article, then you get to pick the style that you think will be most functional for that article.
