To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

June 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Carman (singer), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:06, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Carman (singer). Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. jp×g 02:39, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

We emailed your office last night. This is the office of Carman Licciardello and we control this page. Why are we blocked? We sent you the legal information on the edits. We need the following posted immediately. You can email us at cwolegacy@gmail.com

On August 1, 2019 Carman filed for divorce from Dana and it was settled on June 29, 2020. He was not married nor did he have any children upon his passing in February 2021. D-19-593963–D Las Vegas, NV Cwolegacy (talk) 20:16, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Ownership of content; no single editor has any right of ownership or editorial control over an article on Wikipedia - including the article's subject and/or their representatives. Individuals connected to the subject personally or professionally should avoid editing the article directly, due to conflict of interest concerns. WP:AUTOPROB describes how content disputes should be discussed on the article talk page; if that does not resolve the disagreement, there are several dispute resolution options available.
I have included a notice below discussing conflict of interest in general terms. As well, if you are paid representatives of this person, you must disclose this information in accordance with Wikipedia's paid editing disclosure policy. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:43, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Drm310. As a comment to Cwolegacy, I have been the one reverting the additions to the article. You need to provide a reliable source. A legal filing is not sufficient. https://www.thefocus.news/music/carman-licciardello-wife/ makes the claim that he was married at the time of his death. A similar source that discusses the divorce would be needed. And yes, please add your source to the article's talk page and let an experienced editor add it to the article. It has now been flagged as having a potential conflict of interest because your involvement. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:26, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Cwolegacy. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Carman (singer), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:29, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you not posting the divorce?

CWO Board Cwolegacy (talk) 20:37, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is a volunteer-based editing community who contribute based on their availability. There are no set crews or teams working on articles on any topic. Please be patient and assume good faith of other editors here.
What is the "CWO Board"? Is it an organization that represents Carman's estate? How many individuals have access to this account? --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:54, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Carman Licciardello[edit]

This is NOT a filing. This divorce was settled in Las Vegas, NV on 6-29-2020. We even provided the order. Do we need to provide you the divorce decree? This is really ridiculous. We gave you a court order. We don’t rely on news articles only court orders.

Thank you CWO Board Cwolegacy (talk) 03:47, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Carman Licciardello[edit]

We can upload the court papers of the divorce. Just let us know where to do that.

Thank you CWO Board Cwolegacy (talk) 03:52, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not an expert on this, but I recognize that it is a WP:PRIMARY source. We prefer WP:SECONDARY sources.
And there's no need for you to upload the record. It can be found on https://www.clarkcountycourts.us/Portal/Home/Dashboard/29 with the case file you provided in a recent edit. Your dates are a bit off as the record shows that the "Notice of Entry of Decree of Divorce" was completed on June 30, 2020. Now all we need to do is talk to the people on the project to determine if this is a valid record. It makes no mention of children though. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:03, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

June 2021[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:38, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
