Re: CHEK-TV

The images can't be used in a gallery, even if they do have historical significance. If they're truly a significant piece of a complete article about the station, they should be integrated in a section describing the significance of the logos. By convention, we only use one logo for use in identification. You're welcome to write a section including critical commentary on the historical logos and re-insert them in that format. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:41, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

A gallery is just a table of pictures. Our rules on using non-free media require that there be some commentary on the image in order for it to be included, and we are also asked by our non-free content criteria to use only a minimal amount of non-free images on each article (#3). Hi - I see you have recently created one or more new stub types. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types are proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it is otherwise correctly formatted, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any rationale for this stub type. And please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 03:08, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of Galaxy Cinemas theatres, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of List of Galaxy Cinemas theatres

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of Galaxy Cinemas theatres, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:00, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of List of Galaxy Cinemas theatres

I have nominated List of Galaxy Cinemas theatres, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Galaxy Cinemas theatres. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Orphaned non-free media (Image:AM650 CISL.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:AM650 CISL.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:CBUT logo 1953-76.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:44, 23 January 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 16:44, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I have to side with JTRH on this one. I quote him:

"Only the company that actually produced the show at the time is listed. The fact that Production Company A was later acquired by Media Conglomerate B doesn't mean that a show produced by A years before the acquisition automatically becomes a Series By B".
Unquote. It applies to other TV show articles. WikiLubber (talk) 14:15, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Bonanza

Hello Creativity-II: My post at Bonanza was not original research; all of the details were taken directly from the book American Desperado by Evan Wright. I'd appreciate it if you'd please advise me how I should change the post so that it better reflects that fact and so that my post will conform with Wikipedia guidelines. Thank you! Next Caller / Universal Television

Hello. I have reverted your edits ([1], [2]) regarding the involvement of Universal Television with the television series Next Caller. IMDb is not a reliable source for this information. Disambiguation link notification for January 27

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Total Drama characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spanish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

March 2013

Your recent editing history at Template:Seattle Radio shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 10:31, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

RE

Can you stop reverting my editions? I explain my editions in the two last editions. 1, The Tag Team Titles were desactivated, so I move them to the inactive championships section. 2, Due to Wikiproject Pro Wrestling, we don't put Tag team/stable sections in the rosters, so I delete them. Now, can I do my edition again? --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:16, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

July 2013

You have been blocked from editing for a short time for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Wrestling Superstars Live. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 12:26, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Creativity-II (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

This so-called "edit warring/3RR" block is bogus and I want it removed. I did not violate the 3RR rule at all because I only edited the article on Wrestling Superstars Live twice within 24 hours, here [3] and [4], and in both cases that was to remove erroneous edits. It was HHH_Pedigree who started the edit war by insisting on putting in those edits removing important material in the first place. Creativity-II (talk) 12:36, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Making a third revert outside of the 24 hours does not get you a free pass for edit-warring. The 3RR rule is simply a "bright line", but edit-warring is still prohibited even if you make fewer reverts within 24 hours or extend the edit-war to more than 24 hours. Being right is also not a valid reason for an edit-war. If you are engaged in a content disagreement, you should discuss it on the article talk page and seek a consensus. Please have a read of WP:EW and feel free to make a new unblock request once you are prepared to abide by it. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:40, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
