Reversion of edits[edit]

Hi

As you are new to Wikipedia it may be that you are not entirely clear on how pages are edited and contributions to those pages weighed for relevancy WP:MoS, accuracy WP:CITE and notability WP:NOTABILITY.

I undid your edit because it was not relevent to the article. your statement "No. It is relevant. Reason: Greek Cypriots reject the PEOPLEness of Turkish Cypriots, and regard and call them as COMMUNITY. This is one of the conflicts that created impasse in current Cyprus Dispute" is called original research WP:OR. It is an opinion and is not backed up by sources. The material you included in the page was deleted as not relevent, and discussed on the talk page of the article here.

The material is not relevent as it does not mention Northern Cyprus. More importantly we have discussed the additions of text referring to the UN ruling on Kosovo and have removed it as a spokeperson for the UN has said that it is not relevent to Northern Cyprus.

Please do not re-add it without discussing this matter on the talk page.

August 2010[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Northern Cyprus. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dr.K. λogosπraxis 22:35, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
