Cyclone[edit]

I feel your trimming of links was far too severe. Many of the cyclone links were quite legitimate; perhaps the only links not immediately relevant were to tornado articles. I have taken the liberty of correcting your overenthusiasm  : ) Denni 22:07, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • I take back my comment. I didn't realize that these articles were already linked internally, and thus are superfluous. I've reverted the article back to your edit. Denni 22:16, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering why you removed this template from several pages. Thanks. Guettarda 01:55, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

answer here

I saw the addition - I just don't see the value in removing (as opposed to replacing) the templates. Guettarda 02:02, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sahrawi[edit]

Hi, I've readded the verify tag, this was added explicitly to try and get citations so we could remove the {{totallydisputed}} tag. It would be cool if you could stick to the Wikipedia:Footnotes style I implemented, but if not I'll adjust it for you. Thanks very much for providing citations though, they are certainly needed :) - FrancisTyers 04:06, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, sorry I thought you'd added some citations, never mind, I must just have missed those. I just checked out your user page and noticed that you hope to get a degree in translation. Alberta template[edit]

I don't understand why you have removed the alberta template from a number of centers in Alberta. Could you please explain your reason. Personally, I think they should remain; but if there is a valid reason to remove them, I'd like to hear it. Cheers, Cadillac 23:04, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why the template's needing reformatting warranted it's complete removal. Honestly, did you expect someone to reformat it and then go and re-add it to all the pages that you removed it from? --Tyson2k 02:50, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Digimon Frontier[edit]

I just though I'd point out that the name of the series is Digimon Frontier, not "frontiers" as used in your template. Shiroi Hane 02:55, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editing it would break all the articles using it so thought a heads up was a good first step.. Shiroi Hane 02:58, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know a great deal about how templates work to be honest, so again best to leave to someone who does. Shiroi Hane 03:03, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd love to help. But I wish to finish the basic wikification of all the Digimon articles first. I am half-way through S. x42bn6 Talk 02:29, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

cool with me[edit]

I thought what i said was already a policy or guideline or something, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyways, sounds good to me. I'm honored that you thought highly enough of the comment to post it to Raul's laws. Thanks and see you around the wiki :-) Alhutch 21:30, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for prettifying the table in Olmec[edit]

Thanks for prettifying the table of the colossal heads in the Olmec article. It looks great. I have a lot to learn. Madman 01:26, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good News and Bad News[edit]

Good News[edit]

I see you are making a new format for color coordinates.

Bad News[edit]

You originally chose to be inconsistent with the spelling "color" commonly used in Wikipedia's color articles. Georgia guy 22:19, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agumon Image[edit]

It didn't look right at the top either.. unfortnately not easy to preview image placement in a section. Shiroi Hane 21:02, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

answer to this

PS.. I think the Digimonimage tag may cover it.. it doesn't specifically say that the image has to be a screenshot. Shiroi Hane 21:06, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've replied on the FAC page now. Thanks for the conversion. I'll have to learn that format for future article. So, is that a support for FA, now? :) Gflores Talk 04:44, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Climate of Antarctica - ref style[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your good-faith edits to this article. However, as you've become aware, there are issues here, which is why I've reverted you. If you want to pursue this, I ask that you read up on the background and/or discuss it. William M. Connolley 10:49, 12 February 2006 (UTC).[reply]

antarctica image[edit]

I would really like to have all three images in there. Krill is very important, penguins are characteristic of Antarctica, and an obligatory image of a type of flora. Would be possible in any way? If not, then your format will have to do. :) Note, I left an comment on the talk page there, as well (but it's irrelevant now, I think). Gflores Talk 19:42, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cape Horn[edit]

Hi, You're still an object to the Cape Horn FAC — do you still think I need to work on the references? I've switched to <ref>-style references, and I really can't see a way to improve them further. The article just doesn't seem to have the scope for "major" and "other" references, and there are plenty of FAs that don't organise them that way. Please let me know how I can improve the article to the point where you can support it. Cheers, — Johan the Ghost seance 17:52, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion review?[edit]

First, I hope this is the correct way to leave a message for you. Can you head over to the RPG page for [Marel Super Heroes |http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Marvel_Super_Heroes_%28role-playing_game%29] and see what you think? There is a large list of products, plus a price list, on the main article page. This was removed once. Now it's back, and the author added some comments on the discussion page. I feel the original removal was correct, but maybe I'm out of line here. Thanks Markspace 00:16, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"ref" tags[edit]

Hi, thanks for introducing those "ref" tags to the Nestor's Cup article. I wasn't aware of that technique, it's nifty. Could you point me to a reference so I can learn to understand it better? Thanks. Lukas (T.|@) 12:36, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you have another look, please? Johnleemk | Talk 16:53, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've tackled the offending sections as requested. I haven't turned up any credible research on May 13 casualties, however, although a sizeable number of people, especially eyewitnesses, refuse to believe the government statistics -- maybe they're just pulling numbers out of a hat. Their POV is clearly not limited to a fringe group, though, since both Means and the World Bank thought the claims to be worth mentioning (see my comments on FAC for more). I just wanted to let you know that Pink Floyd is now a featured article. Thanks for the comments and your edits to the article that helped get it there! - dharmabum 23:09, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New-style references[edit]

Thanks for your help with Cape Horn, which is now an FA. During the discussion, you mentioned that you were converting {{ref|xxx}} to <ref>...</ref>. I have the technical documentation on <ref>, but is there any info on its status in Wikipedia? Ie, is there a discussion or policy page that suggests/mandates using it in WP articles?

Reason I ask is that I now have a perl helper script for converting {{ref|xxx}} to <ref>...</ref>, and I'm merrily working away on "my" articles; I was wondering what the wider "official" view on this is. (And I'll soon be publishing that script if you're interested — it makes the job a whole lot easier.) Cheers, (reply here for sanity) — Johan the Ghost seance 10:35, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

answer

So far I've only converted reference lists that I created: this was why I was wondering if there is any discussion or policy relating to <ref>. Also, I don't think my script really qualifies as a bot, since I edit every article manually, and the script runs on my own machine. Digimon Question[edit]

Should "Digimon" and "Digimon" X be in the same article. Please reply on my talk, thanks. - plau

Thanks, another thing, do we use the infobox for every digimon, or just some? - plau
Thanks agin, two things, first, i think you should create a attack section because they can become quite big. and secondly, Shouldn't Lucemon and Lucemon Falldown Mode and Lucemon Satan Mode be in seperate articles, because technically, they are different digimon.

A lot's changed since your original vote. Would you care to revise it or comment further?--naryathegreat | (talk) 00:53, 20 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bounties[edit]

Greetings! You recently helped get the Battle of Badr article featured - thanks! I wanted to make you aware that I have bounties out on several other articles pertinent to Muslim history: Al-Nahda, Akbar, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Mohammed Mossadegh, and, tangentially, Bank of Credit and Commerce International. All these articles are in relatively good condition, but just need a little push to get them featured. A total of $130 is on the line. Are you up for it? – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 13:53, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've actioned your comments (I believe) - Atmospheric Railway is a separate article which I'll edit in time, any chance of a support vote on IKB? Thx for your input btw --PopUpPirate 00:49, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:If defined (and others)[edit]

You recently voted "keep" in this deletion debate. Your vote, along with two others (my own included) were discounted on what I believe to be frivilous grounds. There is currently a deletion review ongoing that I would very much appreciate your input on. You can read (and comment) on the review here. Thanks! —Locke Coletc 04:37, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
