Problems[edit]

Hi Christina, it's nice that you are helping to write an article, but you still need to follow our policies and guidelines. First, this isn't your article, see WP:OWN and you need to use sources that meet our criteria at WP:RS and WP:VERIFY. USA Today columns and Google do not, for instance. If unsourced material is removed, it shouldn't be replaced without a reliable source.

The lead - see WP:LEAD should be a summary of the article, not a set of definitions. We already have articles on dance, health, etc and besides that the average reader knows what they are. You can judicially link to any article (although not as a source), but see WP:OVERLINKING.

Sources need to discuss both dance and health.

You also need to be able to work well with other editors. Giving orders such as "don't change them back again" doesn't help - eg when the titles were changed to sentence case, which is what we use, and you reverted that. I'm glad to see you accepted my amendment. More later perhaps. Doug Weller (talk) 07:08, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I see you didn't add USA Today. Doug Weller (talk) 09:53, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Doug, I'm sorry I'm just seeing all of this now, but I understand and appreciate your comments about the article, Dance and health. Your comments make a lot more sense to me now and I will accept the comments that you made for my edits. I thought I was following all the guidelines? I know that the article isn't "mine" but I was just adjusting and tweaking some information to make the article even better than it was intended before. I now understand that maybe I shouldn't have added in just definitions for the beginning part of the article. I felt like I did cite all my information that I was adding to the article and didn't think it was a problem? Also, everything that I had added in the article all related to dance and health topics. Ok, I understand that I need to work well with other editors but some people on here are trolling what I had to say and kept deleting a lot of my information and I explained it to them to stop doing that, but it was in a nicely matter. Yes, I haven't gotten to add USA Today. But, I've also noticed that someone took down the physical health topic on the article and I was wondering why? Because, I believe it had very good information and physical health needed to be added, just like there's a mental health topic on the article. Also, I've noticed that some of my pictures got taken down as well and was wondering why too? I believe that those pictures represented a lot of the sub topics and topics being discussed throughout the article. But, I promise I won't add in definitions to the article. The citations should be fine though. I'm not trying to start an edit war, I hope you know. Just trying to make the article better in any way so that I can help with it. Ok well thanks for your help and I'll try my best to keep calm and accept your comments. Thank you! Christinafoley95 (talk) 09:17, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
