Fun[edit]

Nobody out there is good enough to improve an article, but when that happens always will be people ready mess it up, seems like even here on the Net, there's no scape of world's mediocrity.

July 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Muse (band), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Calabe1992 (talk) 02:52, 8 July 2011 (UTC) actually, you point in a wrong direction, there's a new section on Muse's talk page to discuss the genres, but the other user and it's parallel I.P. don't want to discuss[reply]

Disruptive editing on Muse articles[edit]

The policy of Wikipedia is to build consensus with collaborative edits. In the case of controversial items, it's very much a necessity. Several people, not just myself, have been reverting your edits on site. First of all, you are not a self-appointed genre expert, so try to understand your opinion is not WP:TRUTH and that there are other viewpoints that people have. Secondly, focusing your edits to changing the genres of articles adds very little value to an encyclopedia and is doing nothing but disrupting them. Why not focus on fixing some of the horrible prose/grammar in these articles instead of being disruptive over genres and refusing to see beyond your own opinion? Third, I'm not the only person disagreeing with your edits - most of them are changing things that were already agreed upon or were consensus for a while and don't adhere to Wikipedia's guidelines for building consensus. In many cases, the references you are providing are flimsy or are based entirely on a weak interpretation you made. For example, "dressed up in a space suit" in the Starlight (Muse song) article - nowhere does the review call the song space rock. You have no idea what the reviewer was intending with that statement and any assertion on your part would be incorrect (maybe he was talking about the spatial single cover!). If you can't cooperate, I'll report you for continual violations of WP:3RR. Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talkcontributions) 22:48, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Starlight (Muse song). Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Noom talk stalk 22:56, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Response by Carnotaurus044[edit]

Hi there, first of all only other user (Newmoonbay) reverted my edit in the Muse main page, second my edits couldn't be subjetive since i'm providing references for all my genre changes, thus, is not like i'm a self apointed genre expert. If well it's true that this warring have keep me busy the last days, it definitively isn't the only things that i do here, just for start i was who improved the whole musical style section in Muse's main page, i improved the introduction paragraphs of Muse's "Black holes..." and "Absolution" album, i´ve improved the reviews & prose in the aforementioned albums and expanded reviews score in the origin of symmetry album too. i recently worked in the coldplay page too, and thats only on the last two weeks. Resistance (song)[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Resistance (song), you may be blocked from editing. Dl2000 (talk) 01:39, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

False. More than one person has told you to stop. As I mentioned earlier, why not try doing something constructive instead of genre warring? Or do you get off on doing that? Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talkcontributions) 02:37, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • False that other person is a parallel acount made by you. I'm amused about how highly cynical you are, if you're and idiot it's ok, but that don't means that anyone else is too, it's enough with give a look to the date and time in wich the acount Eater of grapes was made. also with give a look to it's contributions [1] it's enough evidence that the acount Eater of grapes is your parallel acount.
  • Aditionally, if we give a look to the lasts weeks warring is clear that i've been right in all my edits, on the other hand, you're always clogging any improvement in any Muse page and you're always ends being wrong, and the resistance article definitely won't be the exception.Carnotaurus044 (talk) 00:44, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

why the hell i'm blocked? Carnotaurus044 (talk) 05:01, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Sock puppetry, like the template says. If you're going to use this template again, do try to provide an actual reason why, at least hypothetically in a perfect world, someone should unblock you. — Daniel Case (talk) 05:14, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

if anyone check my hystory i've been rather inactive on wikipedia (i've only made like 12 edits in the last two months), i don't have any idea of who is acusing me of that or why, can anyone give me a reazon? Carnotaurus044 (talk) 05:22, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The reason is that the blocking admin, MuZemike, believes that you were operating one or more additional accounts (frequently called "sockpuppets") in violation of the relevant policy. While I haven't asked him/her, my best guess from looking down the list of blocks he did around the same time is that it's Whiteandbleak. Supporting this is the fact that both of you misspell the word "reason". עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 08:34, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
