On April 21, 2016, American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor, Prince Rogers Nelson was found dead at his Paisley Park home and studio. Within hours, the news quickly spread across the globe, leaving fans and celebrities stunned. "Prince" was the top trending term on Twitter and Facebook had over 61 million Prince related posts. Questions about how Prince had died were raised quickly. He had cancelled two shows on April 7th stating that he had had the flu but postponed them to April 14th where he would then play his last concert.[1] While flying back to Minneapolis the night of the performance, Prince fell unconscious, causing his plane to make an emergency landing in Moline,Illinois. There, he received Narcan, a save-shot which is used to treat opioid overdoses, but left soon after because he could not get a private room. [2] On April 21, 2016, just a week after and alleged overdose on his plane, Prince was found dead in an elevator at Paisley Park, after his staff were unable to reach him all morning.

Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Death of Prince. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!! Article on Prince's death[edit]
Hi! Just letting you know that I made the page for this into a redirect again. The reason for this is that back in April there was a consensus that it was too soon for there to be a separate entry on Prince's death. There have been some reviews since then at DRV and the consensus was that there must be a discussion at the talk page for Prince before the article can be re-created.
In this discussion you will have to show that there has been enough coverage to justify a content fork. I had opened a discussion back in June, but it looks like many participants said that there wasn't enough. You can try opening up a new one, but you'll need to make a strong case.
My recommendation is that you work on the article in your userspace or at AfC, then bring the completed article to the talk page. This would likely be more effective since you'd have a prospective page to show them and you could use the article history here as a starting point. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 04:08, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
