Inspired by the song "Lavender Blue", yes? Burl Ives lives. :) Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 03:49, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, my screen name is from an old 1970's grade school textbook called "blue dilly dilly" (all lowercase), from the "Keys to Reading" series, produced by The Economy Company. I still have the copy my sister gave me when I was a wee thing. ;) But I suspect the book's title may have been inspired by dear old Burl. Blue (talk) 04:26, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Would singing a short segment of that song qualify as a Dilly Bar? Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 04:44, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think you are correct. :D Blue (talk) 04:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your fix of my wording on the above article. I'm rather biased when it comes to JRT, as I'm a fan of his, so I appreciate your having tempered my wording a bit. LHM 22:22, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I'm a fan of JRT too, he's a heck of a guy. Sorry it took so long to reply to this, I'll have to try and pay closer attention to my messages.Blue (talk) 03:51, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
