All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. Thank you for the information. I am affiliated with the company, and have logged on as entries relating to were quite out of date. I will endeavour to keep any edits neutral and focussed solely on facts. I've had another look through the Bath International Music Festival article and removed anything I felt sounded too much like PR copy. I hope that's ok? There are still a few issues. For example:

This tradition of leadership by an acclaimed performer continues to the present day, with the appointment of Alasdair Nicolson, a composer and musician, who is also Artistic Director St Magnus Festival in Orkney.

It looks like this passage was copied directly from the Bath Music Festival website [1]. This is not permitted as it is a copyright violation - even superficial changes are not allowed as it would be considered close paraphrasing. If you are the copyright holder and wish to donate your copyrighted material, there are certain steps to follow.
The language used must also be neutral and avoid words and phrases that are puffery, which only seek to inflate the subject's importance without imparting useful information. "Tradition of leadership" and "acclaimed performer" are two such examples. Another example:

On the opening Friday evening, almost 2000 performers take part in the free Party in the City event, an exuberant celebration of music making in Bath. The whole city hosts events and many thousands attend.

In addition to the puffery of "exuberant celebration", you didn't give a source to verify what you've written.
I would suggest you review Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide before making any further edits. --Drm310 (talk) 21:40, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would urge you to put in a request very soon. Usernames that appear to represent organizations are routinely blocked from editing. --Drm310 (talk) 21:42, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
