CSD contested

May I ask why you contested the speedy deletion of User talk:178.197.216.152? It's clearly vandalism as it's just a personal attack to the IP. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:43, 2 February 2023 (UTC)

@Blaze Wolf: Because personal attacks are not considered to be vandalism and are therefore not covered under G3 of the speedy criteria. BangJan1999 23:50, 2 February 2023 (UTC)

Disruptive editor

May I know why you reverted my edit in Ponniyin Selvan: I ? I added the voice artist who dubbed for the actress with a reliable source. You couldn't even care to say the reason. It's because of people like is that everyone loathes to edit on wikipedia. It's already really tedious, but when combined with people like you who are on a mission to disrupt every logical edit is what gets on my nerves. Wallflower2048 (talk) 17:12, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

Still no reply even after a day. I'm going to undo your edit back to the way the actress' voice artist was originally mentioned by me with a provided reliable source. Please don't cause any more trouble Wallflower2048 (talk) 17:12, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
@Wallflower2048: Please provide evidence that Instagram is a reliable source and I might allow the edit to stand. BangJan1999 17:18, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
@BangJan1999 What is your understanding of a "reliable source"? If Instagram is "unreliable" then nowadays everything about a new movie is being released on social media websites such as Twitter. For example the whole cast of Leo - Bloody Sweet was released on Twitter by the production.
If a movie with a gigantic budget and production like that are posting on social media to confirm, what more can a small voice artist do to prove they have dubbed for an actress? The most she can do is post on her Instagram page.
There's even a Youtube interview of her speaking in the voice for Vaanathi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_ZlSyPe6Nk&ab_channel=BehindwoodsTV
I haven't faced this much difficulty in adding a valid point to any article. But of course when there are people like you who are on a mission to revert and destroy every single logical edit, Wikipedia is doomed to remain an unsatisfactory unreliable website. Hope you remain happy. Wallflower2048 (talk) 21:48, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
@Wallflower2048: WP:RELIABLE, WP:VERIFY & WP:NOR are good starts in understanding Wikipedia's policies regarding verification and sourcing. If you have problems with them, then I'm afraid this website probably isn't for you. BangJan1999 21:59, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
My present edit qualifies under all your aforementioned guidelines and doesn't fall under any of the "Self-published" or "questionable sources" policies. If you are going to revert it just out because of the fun of it, please at least let me know specifically what your problem is with the new edit, without citing some wiki articles.
Just to mention, even the "reliable source" of Aishwarya Rai's voice artist Deepa Venkat, is some website reposting her Instagram post. I don't know why you are specifically targeting me. Wallflower2048 (talk) 23:04, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
If you actually want guidance, ask someone more qualified than me to do so, such as an admin (Here's a list of recently active ones: https://apersonbot.toolforge.org/recently-active/?admins). I don't want to continue this discussion anymore. BangJan1999 23:36, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Declining speedy deletion

Hi, I would like to ask you next time to please notice me of which should be the correct way for me to deal with a deletion. I'm not a frequent editor of English Wikipedia, I don't know all of its rules, and found out about this only casually. I know it can be bothering, but at least I would have known before how to deal with this. Thanks. Sannita - not just another it.wiki sysop 21:20, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

The reason they didn't give?

Hi, I saw your revert here [1]. My guess after going through Oniwe's contributions is that they were trying to get the page deleted so that their draft could be moved there. They just didn't fill out the template correctly. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 18:41, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

@Clovermoss: Fair enough. Oniwe could you please confirm this? BangJan1999 18:43, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
Yes thats true, apologies for the confusion. Oniwe (talk) 18:54, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

CR ENTERTAINMENT Speedy Deletion

Hi,

You contested my speedy deletion of CR Entertainment which I listed under criterions A1, A3 and A7.

How does CR entertainment make a credible assertion of importance? And how does it pass A1 and A3? Epifanove💬 01:25, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

@Epifanove: A3 is for articles with literally no content in them. A1 is for articles where it's literally impossible to work out what they are about. A7 is for articles that don't even try to make a claim of notability. If you have any further questions, check out WP:CSD as it may answer them. BangJan1999 17:50, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

As your AFc submission of the draft is-English, you can't contest CSD per WP:LANG. You must have to add WP:ENGLISH Twinkle1990 (talk) 14:16, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

@Twinkle1990: Non-English articles can only be speedied if the article is in the mainspace, and there must be an existing article on another Wikimedia project. Otherwise, you'll need to look into other methods. BangJan1999 14:19, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
@BangJan1999 whatever, you can't add non-English contents to English Wikipedia. Twinkle1990 (talk) 14:47, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
