Welcome, but don't be a troll[edit]

Hello! and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate all contributions but please be aware of some of the policies that govern creation and acceptance of articles. I have included the above welcome to help you better understand the community that you have joined! If another editor places a speedy delete tab on a page that you have created and you wish to contest the speedy deletion, do not delte the template yourself; place this template, "{{hangon}}" beneath the speedy. I would also suggest sticking with minor grammatical or spelling edits until you have a better grasp of how this wiki works. If you have any questions or need help with anything, feel free to contact me on my talk page located here! Cheers!--Sallicio 02:49, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Marc Chase[edit]

A tag has been placed on Marc Chase requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Jobjörn (talk) 02:25, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2008[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Jobjörn (talk) 03:15, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry![edit]

Wasn't intending to offend. Just a total noob, which I'm sure you see your fair share of. Thanks for your patience. I've followed your instructions, and have been helped by another user to better write this article. Thanks again. Baldilocks (talk) 03:23, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. Welcome to Wikipedia! Jobjörn (talk) 03:28, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Marc Chase. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Sceptre (talk) 04:10, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
