Hi, I had added links to several new degree programs at leading universities across the US since the field is new and these program's are just emerging. I added the same text on a few pages that are all essentially the same topic, i.e., bid data, analytics, and data analytics. This is not spam. It's important for people who want to know where to find the content. I'm hoping to clarify any questions that you have before i undo my edits.

Thanks, Paul Russo, Ph.D.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for working on those articles. By now you may have seen some of the Wikipedia guidelines about promotional material http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Spam and duplicate content. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Content_forking . Still don't just go by me, Wikipedia is a collaborative effort. You can get opinions of editors more experienced than me, and find discussions about page content on any of the talk pages associated with artices http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Analytics

It sounds like you and perhaps you students could make valuable contributions to these articles.

Hi Apptrain,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll read up a bit more on the guidelines. For now, I'm going to add back the reference to the varieties of data analytics degrees, but in just this article. I'll see if there is a better way to do it on the analytics page. All the best, Paul 917-293-3911

I'm not sure what you were trying to do by tagging the article talk page with a PROD tag, but it is not eligible for deletion. GiantSnowman 19:33, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That was a mistake sorry! I had an article I thought it could be merged with, I will try to find that.Apptrain (talk) 09:46, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
