Hello Gatorbearratica, I hope you are well.
Thank you for your contributions to this source. You are misreading and misinforming others. The articles is about African countries, but you are adding territories and self-declared entities.
Please don't take it personal.
Many Thanks Anwar8989 (talk) 08:13, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removing content without discussion[edit]

Hi, your recent edits to Somaliland which remove content have not been given any justification, and you have reverted to your version more than 3 times in 24 hours. This doesn't improve the article, it simply adds to the article history and makes it more difficult to understand changes that have been made. Please stop making reverts, and discuss your proposed changes thoroughly on the talk page. Wizmut (talk) 19:15, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.
Thank you for reaching out, just added some references explaining the legal position of SL as unrecognised state, was removed for unnecessary reasons. Anwar8989 (talk) 08:39, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is not the adding of references that is contentious, it's the content you keep removing. Please post on the article's talk page and reach consensus BEFORE removing any content. Do not post once and revert again - you have now tried removing most of the lead paragraph several times which is a violation of the three revert rule.
If you look in the talk page archives, you can see specific parts of the lead being set by a well-worn consensus. The page in general has a contentious topic advisory. You are well-advised to make a clear case for any edits on the talk page. Wizmut (talk) 08:52, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't remove anything again. just added some references. Anwar8989 (talk) 09:08, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of largest cities in the Arab world

Your recent editing spree is highly suspicious and consisted of edits that massively violated our Manual of Style about such topics as overlinking at Bassem Youssef and use of curly apostrophes at Reem Maged. You've also been adding unsourced text, which no editor who's been here for two years should be doing, along with extreme changes about Somaliland to suit your opinion. You are not welcome here. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I didn't know about overlinkiing or the rules of the use of curly apostrophes, I was never warned before getting blocked either. Changes made in Somaliland done using a mobile phone, happy to provide reference and resources proving the political changes after the war took place last year and the establishment of a new administration - new SSC Khatumo state. Please unblock me as I will abide by the rules I learnt today

Decline reason:

Never warned? I see numerous warnings here on this talk page. Yamla (talk) 11:28, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
