Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dream factory (album)[edit]

Hi there. I saw this: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dream factory (album) and had a question. What you want is simply for the correct title to be Dream Factory (unreleased album), correct? If so, you didn't need to create a new article altogether, just FYI, only to move the article to the proper title. See Page_move for further info about how to do that in the future. Now that you have an article at the preferred title, however, this article doesn't necessarily need to be deleted. It can be redirected to Dream Factory (unreleased album), as a plausible search term for anyone trying to find info about it here, they will be taken to the page at the correct title. If that solution is okay with you, please comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dream factory (album), state that you wish to withdraw your nomination, and I will be glad to assist you in redirecting the page if you need help with that. Feel free to comment here (I'll keep your talk page watchlisted) if you have any questions/comments about this suggestion. Raven1977 (talk) 03:49, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2009[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Nude Tour. This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. Speedy deletion of Nude Tour[edit]

A tag has been placed on Nude Tour requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Prince (musician), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — R2 19:02, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Prince (musician). Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Pyrrhus16 19:30, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Prince page[edit]

Hi, I got your note from 25 February asking if I'd be interested in helping out with Prince. I'd love to help out. Sorry for the late response...I haven't been here in forever. - MPLS.purple7 (talk) 00:54, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
