Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Annesteenkamp1. Request to add the first founded Think Tank in The Netherlands: Public Space Foundation

Dear Wiki-people

I am requesting to add the think tank Public Space Foundation (www.publicspace.eu) to the list of think tanks, as the Public Space Foundation is the first founded think tank in The Netherlands, founded by Steven PM de Waal (PhD).

I get continuously a message from wiki, that I have a conflict of intrest. which I don't have, it's just crazy that a think tank like Public Space Foundation is not mentioned in the list of important think tanks in The Netherlands. (I can also give you a list of think tanks in other countries that are not being mentioned. Meaning: the list needs a drastic update. I therefore request to add Public Space Foundation to the list.

Little strange as this IS the talk page for the list of think tanks, where I am requesting to add the think tank Public Space Foundation from Utrecht (NL). So I don't understand what you mean bu wrong venue??????

Hello Annesteenkamp, the talkpage for the list article is at Talk:List of think tanks (generally speaking, talkpages for articles are always at Talk:article name), if you'd like to request an edit or discuss issues. One more point though, and sorry to be frank, but your claim that you don't have a conflict of interest seems to be false. Apparently you are either a volunteer or an employee of this organization. Either way, in both of these cases you have a clear and undeniable conflict of interest in favor of your organization and should not edit any affected articles or lists. Please read WP:COI for more details. Thank you. A last quick tip, if you'd like to notify another editor, you can add {{ping|editor name here}} (without the nowiki parts) in your post before you save it.
