COI and non-neutral editing[edit]

Excuse me, but you have repeatedly inserted a WP:POV advertising tone into the James E. Pepper article, added information without providing cited sources to enable verification of the stated facts, removed questions without providing answers to them, and generally removed anything that appears different from the story that you want to be told about what you have disclosed to be your personally owned business. You need to be aware that the purpose of Wikipedia is not to serve as a brand advertisement website. Perhaps you are new to this community. I strongly suggest that you review the relevant Wikipedia guidelines, including WP:COI, WP:NPOV, and WP:VERIFY. I am happy to converse with you on the article's Talk page or here on your User talk page or on my own User talk page, so that we can reach a mutual understanding, but I think you need to stop directly editing the article and engage more in collaborative conversation rather than starting what is known here as an edit war. I have reverted your latest string of edits. —BarrelProof (talk) 13:38, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thank you for the message and I would be happy to discuss these back and forth revisions. I am not trying to insert an advertising tone into the page, but simply state things factually. I have done 10 years of historic research on this brand and rebuilt this distillery, and so I know the facts. I literally built a museum for the brand. You continue to state things that are not factually accurate. There is also commentary that I feel unnecessarily colors the page and is not standard across other similar pages. I would enjoy trying to come to an agreement on the language on the page. Perhaps we can discuss on a phone call as it will be simpler. Let me know if you are open to that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amirpeay (talkcontribs) 14:14, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the repsonse. I'm pretty busy at the moment. I would be open to a phone call sometime though. Meanwhile, you can also reach me by email. On the left side of the User:BarrelProof page, you'll find a link called "email this user". If there are any specific factual inaccuracies, please point them out here or on the article Talk page. —BarrelProof (talk) 14:51, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply above. I looked on your page for the email link but did not see it... Is there any other way I can email you? You are also welcome to send an email to info@jamesepepper.com attn Amir, and I will get it. I think it will be more productive if we have a call and discuss before I make any more changes to the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amirpeay (talkcontribs) 15:02, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Look in the "Tools" category on the far left side of the page, under the Wikipedia logo. Here is a direct link to it. By the way, you should sign the comments you make on Talk pages, by typing four tildes, like this: "~~~~". —BarrelProof (talk) 19:05, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
