Proposed addition

I would like to propose adding additionally category:LNG plants and category:Oil refineries. Also, I have seen quite a lot of good, but uncategorized energy related start-ups by newbies, so something should be done to indicate also these articles?Beagel 18:22, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Have added the cats you found. You're right about their being uncategorized articles; I'd like to do something with them too, but I want to see what this generates first. There's also two potential uses for the information; for possible publication on the portal, and for use by Wikiproject members. Depending on the quality and quality of the output these two purposes could perhaps be combined, or it may be better to keep them separate. I'm also wondering if an analysis of the output of this experimental version might help define the expressions required to trap the uncategorized stuff, but not sure how to do that yet either... a Pivot table perhaps, if I get the time - but perhaps you're good with that kind of stuff?
