Welcome![edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, Ak47seven. One difference between online style and print style is that online style doesn't use indentation of paragraphs. Instead of indenting, use a blank space between paragraphs. Best, Stevenarntson (talk) 03:19, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article review[edit]

I visited the [1]Basketball_(ball) page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: its lack of citatiions, its lack of clearness and lack of information.

Citations I have noticed that there are citations at the bottom os the page as well as some in-text citations. However,I've found there were some informational pieces without citations, therefore, it makes hard to know where the information was obtained. For example, when it talks about the inventor of basketball game in the session of history , threre's no citations at all. so it makes it harder to know where that piece of history was obtained.

Clearness The overall article is easy to understand because it is quite clear. However, there are some areas that it way need additional information. I've found that there's a size chart of baskerball in this article. It shows different sizes based on the age groups. But it is not clear that is this chart is for the U.S. only ,or if it is universal for all over the world.

Information After reading the article, I've found that this article is lack of information . For example, under the section of history, it does not only state the history of the basketball game ,but also the actual ball. However , it still rises questions like why the color of the ball is orange, and how the sizes of the ball are determined. I believe that there's more about the history of the basketball should be included int article to answer questions like those.

Summary All in all is good, but can be improved. More information can be included, so people know more about the basketball. Citations should be included to prove reliability. When there are sessions talking about facts of information in the article should be more clear, because this is a national sport item, when it talks about its sizes, it should clearly states whether ites only for the U.S. ,or for all nations. Finally, all necessary information regarding to the actual basketball should be included, so avdiance will not have additional questions after reading the article.

(Question: Are the sizes for te basketballs only for the U.S., or for all over the world? )is asked on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Basketball_(ball)#Sizes
