Linkspamming Matterhorn isn't going to work, we can revert faster than you can add, and if you keep trying you'll be blocked from editing altogether, so you might as well give up on the idea. Stan 20:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:P3100102.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:P3100102.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:07, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Copyright issue with Image:P3100102.JPG[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Image:P3100102.JPG, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.0/. As a copyright violation, Image:P3100102.JPG appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Image:P3100102.JPG has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. For text material, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source, provided that it is credible.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

 • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Image:P3100102.JPG and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
 • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Image:P3100102.JPG with a link to where we can find that note.
 • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Image:P3100102.JPG.

However, for text content, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. In addition, you asked for help at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Media_copyright_questions#Image_copyright_of_P3100102.JPG where I told you this license was not acceptable to us and we cannot use this image. You then removed a previous speedy deletion tag and put in a purposely wrong license to allow the use of this image. This is completely unacceptable behavior. Please do not attempt to falsify the copyright status or license of any image in the future. Please consider this your second and final warning. --MECUtalk 20:34, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship in Italy[edit]

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Censorship in Italy. Thank you.--93.45.133.14 (talk) 09:05, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So, why did you revert me again?--93.45.121.7 (talk) 06:54, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Massimo tartaglia, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Massimo tartaglia. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. KaySL (talk) 21:01, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Alliancep2p.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Alliancep2p.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:44, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Alliancep2p, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.alliancep2p.com/overview.shtml.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:47, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alliancep2p requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Alliancep2p has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable software.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing dated prod will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Alliancep2p for deletion[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Alliancep2p, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alliancep2p until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. VernoWhitney (talk) 14:58, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Caffeine, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Among other problems, it makes no sense to talk about the concentration "per volume" of a solid dose. DMacks (talk) 17:00, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Comparison of personal pollution monitor devices has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A bunch of WP:OR.I do not see that the topic passes WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article List of European Union cities proper by population density has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:DEL7. I cannot find a source other than taking the figures from individual countries' official sources, but this would be considered WP:SYNTHESIS. We cannot be sure the data is complete without an aggregate source. There could be many small dense cities that have not been identified by editors. Also, the principal of comparing municipalities across countries is flawed as the way countries are divided administratively is incomparable (which is likely why there are not sources). Urban areas and their densities are much more comparable, though that would be a different article.
