Speedy deletion declined: Samanea Jakarta

Hello Ahmetlii. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Samanea Jakarta, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: This isn't a corporation/organisation in the sense normally used for A7. Hi again. Per the notification I just left, if there's a mainspace and a draft article, and the mainspace article meets the eligibility criteria (which I think this one does), then it should be the draft that gets deleted, not the main article. Articles don't have to go through the draft process. There's no reason that I can see for the mainspace article to be speedy deleted. If you don't think it meets the notability requirements, it needs to go to WP:AFD for a discussion. Thanks. GedUK  16:08, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

Unacceptable messages from Ahmetlii

My initial message from Wikipedia was a lovely one of welcome and I was really pleased to be accepted and be part of Wikipedia. Not long afterward I then received several messages from you which are clearly bullying and unhelpful and distressing. If you think you are some sort of editor being helpful you are not helping me or anyone else at all. As someone trying to contribute something to Wikipedia I have found that any contributions have been discounted and eliminated in an extremely unpleasant manner. Having been delilghted to join Wikipedia I am now very depressed by all if the bullying sarcastic comments by you and your pretend editors along with with your speedy rejection of everything I submitted which you seem to delight in disparaging. Why could you not be helpful instead of so critical with so many inexplicable rejections. Bullies and trolls are not acceptable online in 2021, perhaps Wikipedia might not realise this. If you are not a troll why would you hide behind the annonymous word Ahmetlii. Why not put your real full name in any messages to me. I have written a similar message to an person named Commander Waterford, if that is his real name. I have put refrences in this message to you but there does not seem to be any point in doing so for anything at all on Wikipedia. I challenge you to type the name susanmorrall into Wiki search and you will find that it appears in red type indicating it does not exist. This means that my supposed user page susanmorrall does not exist on Wikipedia although I had filled in and submitted information and photograph to the sandbox I can only presume all submissions were rejected so although I am susanmorrall and I am there at the top of the user page and am currently receiving more rejections messages about everything. However apparently according to Wikipedia this page Susanmorrall does not exist. For me now, this nonsense is not surprising. I am a real person and have signed with my real name.

@Susanmorrall Hello, but I'm really sorry to say that you cannot create your user page or article on Wikipedia, as stated at Wikipedia:Autobiography. If you're really notable enough to be added to Wikipedia, it will eventually be added soon by someone. My intention was not bullying, instead those were standard messages and automaticlally-sent on Wikipedia, which one may have seen from this list. Sadly, being a real person doesn't directly qualify an article, as I'm also a real person but I'm not notable so I may not ever have any Wikipedia pages. Ahmetlii (talk) 18:15, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

@Alexlinenko: as I have stated before, those are not acceptable sources on Wikipedia. You need to find something like a reliable news source which states that the site aforementioned belongs to Telkomsel. WikiCup 2021 May newsletter

The second round of the 2021 WikiCup has now finished; it was a high-scoring round and contestants needed 61 points to advance to Round 3. There were some impressive efforts in the round, with the top eight contestants all scoring more than 400 points. A large number of the points came from the 12 featured articles and the 110 good articles achieved in total by contestants, as well as the 216 good article reviews they performed; the GAN backlog drive and the stay-at-home imperative during the COVID-19 pandemic may have been partially responsible for these impressive figures.

Our top scorers in Round 2 were:

  • Botswana The Rambling Man, with 2963 points from three featured articles, 20 featured article reviews, 37 good articles, 73 good article reviews, as well as 22 DYKs.
  • New York (state) Epicgenius, with 1718 points from one featured article, 29 good articles, 16 DYKs and plenty of bonus points.
  • Republic of Venice Bloom6132, with 990 points from 13 DYKs and 64 "In the news" items, mostly recent deaths.
  • Hog Farm, with 834 points from two featured articles, five good articles, 14 featured article reviews and 15 good article reviews.
  • England Gog the Mild, with 524 points from two featured articles and four featured article reviews.
  • England Lee Vilenski, with 501 points from one featured article, three good articles, six featured article reviews and 25 good article reviews.

Please remember that DYKs cannot be claimed until they have appeared on the main page. As we enter the third round, any content promoted after the end of Round 2 but before the start of Round 3 can be claimed now, and anything you forgot to claim in Round 2 cannot! Remember too, that you must claim your points within 14 days of "earning" them (except for at the end of each round, when you must claim them before the cut-off date/time). @Treetopz You can start from any articles that needs to be improved (because Wikipedia is a voluntary project and you can start from anywhere you want to edit), or you can also select from this list, but it's important to note that the list not maintained actively for a while, so the requests may be outdated. You can also check here, which is a noticeboard. If you would like to show you're participating, you can add one of those wikitexts listed to your userpage. There's not really an obligation to join a project, but it's especially helpful for assessing articles, maintaining articles related to the WikiProject, and using it as a venue for talking related to the project's topic, as stated in here. How to improve a wrongfully deleted article?

For what ever reason my drafted article was DELETED for being "promotional." Which just was not the case. I simply provided as much possible info I had on the subject and I was in the works of sourcing and citing more references AND adding much more to the article so that it could be published. How can I revive and improve all my hard work which was wrongfully deleted? What EXACTLY about this article is "promotional" and how can I improve it?

@Bigbirdboy the draft was fully cited with primary sources and most of it was containing original research as you pointed out, you can't simply add your information without citing, and therefore, it seemed like an advertisement instead of an encyclopedic piece. You can try WP:REFUND for getting back the draft, but it's better to rewrite in my opinion, because the draft wouldn't be accepted on that form. Ahmetlii (talk) 09:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

@Itsyourimran No, I will not, as I really think that the person is non-notable. However, you can declare your points to not delete in the deletion nomination page, as the admins will decide to deletion or undeletion.
