Wilfried Bony

I want just to let you know that these stats for Issia Wazi that you're so desperately including were falsed by User:Zombie433 and then copied on Wilfried's website. When he created this article he put 22 (6)[1] and after few minutes he changed to 16 (6)[2], this is his common behavior, adding random false stats. I wonder why you don't want to include also another rubbish from User:Zombie433 copied on Wilfried's website -that Wilfried was a topscorer of Côte d'Ivoire Premier Division in 2007?--Oleola (talk) 02:19, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi Oleola, I'm not familiar with the behavior of User:Zombie433 but I see he has been blocked. I do wonder how he should be able to change information on Bony's website which apparently is the only source for his time in Côte d'Ivoire. I haven't seen this website to be a total fraud. The topscorer claim for the league is incorrect, that was easy to find in the league stats, but it wasn't written that clear on that site. You can also read it that he was clubtopscorer for Issia Wazi. I haven't find other information on (the archive of) that website that might be incorrect so far. Well it's hard for me to see AGF in your actions when you only use this kind of warnings and the revert button. 'Almost all' instead of 'almost none' is already a major improvement. Unreferenced information in any/all articles - especoally those concerning living people - is rightly a major concern of many editors here, myself included. I find it much safer to remove the unreferenced rather than leave it in the mere hope it's correct because Person X has added it and they have added fine stuff in the past. Fred Pagnam

Hi Agora, I noticed you edited Fred Pagnams Wikipedia page and said he had a Dutch wife. He was my Grandad and his wife was english. I just wondered where u got your information from as we know he was involved with the Dutch resistance in the war and I wonder if this has something to do with it? Regards Rob Dixon. Hi Rob, that was an edit in 2011 so I had to look into it. At least I found it mentioned here [3]. If incorrect please let me know.

I found a few further things as well. In 1933 he was appointed co-trainer at HVV Den Haag besides Fred Warburton.[4] He was trainer of WFC Rapiditas (now FC Weesp) in het 1934/35 season.[5] His spell with De Volewijckers was once a week, normal at the time. He is also mentioned as trainer at HFC Haarlem in 1938 [6] and in October 1939. [7] Most likely Haarlem was his final club in the Netherlands before WW2 and CVV Vriendenschaar a once a week job. Hey. I think the article must be tweaked as she was in the pre-squad but was never registred to enter into a game, see the team roster and the team total statistics. Hi, it seems there is a discrepancy here. IHF includes in these links only players who actually played in a game. The national association named her in the final squad (not pre-squad) for the tournament. [12] She also was presented a gold medal as part of the winning team. Hmmm... we always went after the official pdf files to determine the squad lists. Now she was never eligible to enter into a game, so i still say she should not be listed but see editors doing the opposite and showing evidence that she has a medal, so it's ok.
