Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Anglo-French War (1778–83), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Washington and Rochambeau. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Americans were driven out of New York City, and never returned until after the war. The city became the British headquarters for the remainder of the war, and didn't leave until Evacuation Day. That's pretty damn decisive. BMK (talk) 04:17, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi,

Just checking in to see what your plan is for the Lullism article? Right now it's entirely redundant to Ramon Llull's article and doesn't even cover pseudo-Llullian works which would, to me anyway, form in large part the basis for a separate article. If I had just stumbled across the page that had existed for a while I'd just redirect it as duplicating content, but as you've just recent worked on it I thought I'd check in. Thanks. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 13:06, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

My plan is to enhance the article over time with my work and with any eventual help. AdjectivesAreBad (talk) 14:59, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
That's always good, of course, but typically to fork an article, the new article needs to make itself distinct. Otherwise it should just be redirected. I don't doubt it could be a separate topic, but it's not looking like there's anything there that isn't in the main article. My understanding (and it's been a while since I've read any of the stuff), is that Lullism refers to any esoteric derivative/application of his Ars, often combined with the pseudo-Llull alchemical writings. As the term is used so loosely, it seems like a difficult topic and one that may be best dealt with as a subsection of his article to start.
That said, I'm not going to redirect it (or propose as much) myself. Just a heads up, I guess. Also, to add some context to my interest in your plans, I'm thinking about doing a bunch of work to the Ramon Llull article to take it through WP:GAN. Forks could complicate that (or, possibly, simplify it). — Rhododendrites talk \\ 15:20, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
In my understanding, a theory or a ideology (I'm missing the word here) is not necessarily related to its namesake as it can go way beyond what the original thinker theorized. So maybe the content could not be restrict to a single person. IMO it's useful to have an article where the viewers can take a look about what the philosophy is. BTW, I have some material to add that I find it will be interesting. AdjectivesAreBad (talk) 16:02, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to First Italo-Ethiopian War may have broken the syntax by modifying 4 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
