November 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Las Anod, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 11:34, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Las Anod. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. (Example: "The people in this region are nationalists and proud in their cultures and values.") Thank you. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 11:34, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

April 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Puntland appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Tnxman307 (talk) 18:19, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Puntland and others[edit]

Please review Wikipedia:Three-revert rule before you are blocked. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 18:28, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Section of Puntland article[edit]

Please cite sources before inserting this section again. It is inflammatory and apparently original research. If you want to claim that:

These companies are not only rapping Somali resources, they are committing environmental catastrophe that will forever negatively alter the people’s way of life and contaminate their homes, livestock, air, drinking waters, farm land, and livelihood.

cite dependable sources to back it up. I am going to revert this one last time and then ask for another editor to review if you insist on putting it back. Tnxman307 (talk) 18:28, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Last chance[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 18:30, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

24 hours. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 18:32, 3 April 2008 (UTC) This is a FACT. Somalia is a dire situation and no one represent the people.....this is BLOODOIL[reply]

It is not the factual accuracy of the edits you made that is the problem, but rather their un-encyclopedic nature. This is an encyclopedia and not a forum on world issues. Coming moral or ethical conclusions about factual events is not the job of Wikipedia, and actually runs counter to Wikipedia's policy of avoiding POV. I personally AGREE with you on the matter in terms of ethics and the consequences of exploration, but it isn't my place to pass moral judgments of this kind in an encyclopedia article. --Ingoman (talk) 20:22, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
