Good article and featured article icons[edit]

Information icon Hello! I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions has been undone because it added the Good Article template to Mishrat Jahan Moushumi, an article that has not been promoted by the Good Article Nomination process. If you believe that this article meets the Good Article Criteria, then you are encouraged to nominate it for review by following the Good Article nominating instructions. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Good Article Nominations talk page. Thank you. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 13:33, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 2019 SAFF Women's Championship squads, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 18:51, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Apple20674 (talk) 14:52, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Shunno Band Lineup.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

A tag has been placed on File:Bangladesh Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed OSP, ndu, psc, PhD.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.daily-sun.com/post/560889/New-Chief-of-Army-Staff-biography-. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Redrum (2022 film). Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 01:31, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Golam Robbani Choton[edit]

Hello my friend, I hope you are fine. I reverted your edit on the Golam Robbani Choton page. Here's why I did so. Wikipedia works on ”verifiability, not truth” as a guiding principle. This policy states that “Wikipedia's content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of its editors. Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it. That we have rules for the inclusion of material does not mean Wikipedians have no respect for truth and accuracy, just as a court's reliance on rules of evidence does not mean the court does not respect truth. Wikipedia values accuracy, but it requires verifiability.” If you think I made a mistake, please let me know. Very best regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 02:16, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Standard layout and formatting of career statistics tables[edit]

Hi Aaitarak. For footballer statistics tables, please use the standard table layout and formatting as outlined at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. It is the result of past discussions of the community of football editors at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football.

At Ritu Porna Chakma, table layout and formatting was correct before your change. As you also added height to the player's infoboxes without including an WP:inline citation, I reverted your change.

Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 19:16, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please use standard table layout and formatting. If you need further explanations, I'm happy to help. Robby.is.on (talk) 20:45, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
