January 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Copeland by-election, 2017, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 12:03, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Liverpool West Derby Candidate[edit]

Hi. I see you've re-added Steve Radford as candidate without a reference. If you have one I'd be more than delighted to add it for you. I've spend quite some time searching both local and national press as well as Liberal Party websites and I can't find any indication myself that Steve has committed himself to standing in this election. The key problem here is that Wikipedia is run on the basis of Verifiability, (Can I suggest you read WP:V) and making additions, especially of living people is very problematical. For myself, I'm quite happy to let Steve's name sit there but without a reference I suspect its not going to be there too long. Regards - Galloglass 22:33, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Well we'll know when the declaration of nomination is published on May 11th.

I really suspect Steve's name won't remain there that long without a reference and would encourage you to get one. - Galloglass 22:43, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

How dare you! I am constructively contributing to Wikipedia. I only edit content where there is a legitimate reason, in the article concerned, I removed out of date information about the MP for a constituency (Parliament has been dissolved, no MPs until election).
