November 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:National Football League lore, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - -' The Spook (TALK) (Share the Love with Barnstars) 19:10, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A warning[edit]

I suggest very strongly that you cease your accusations of vandalism; uncited material will be deleted. If you persist in adding that uncited list to the Helene Blavatsky article you will leave me with no option but to escalate the matter. Please discuss on the article's talk page why you think an uncited list is appropriate for this article. --Malleus Fatuorum 00:37, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Helena Blavatsky, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ash (talk) 08:27, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did to Helena Blavatsky, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. tedder (talk) 01:35, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi- please follow WP:CITE and cite your sources properly. Including text that "the association is clear to the common person" is WP:SYNTH. If Blavatsky's work is clearly linked to Nazi imagery or to the Smurfs or to the ancient Mayans, it doesn't belong on Wikipedia unless it is from reliable sources, not original research or synthesis of research. Please discuss it on the talk page rather than edit warring and threatening other editors. tedder (talk) 01:39, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Helena Blavatsky. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. tedder (talk) 02:22, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Helena Blavatsky appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Ash (talk) 07:38, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
