I have always been a fan of Eric Clapton! I graduated HS in 1974 so that is showing my age. Today I saw a concert of his on TV, and I gained a whole new respect for him. I knew he was with Cream & Derek & the Dominos, but also the Yardbirds, Blind Faith etc! Wow, I am even more impressed! Thank you Wiki for that information!!

So there have been many top 100/50/10 guitar player lists of all time ~~ Wiki says Eric was #2 in the Rolling Stone magazine way back when (Jimi Hendrix was first) ~~ I'm not discounting that ~~ my question is here in 2015, is that still true?

Knew about Tears from Heaven song and why he wrote it ~~ terrible tragedy for sure, a parent should never have to bury their child!!

My first question is the spelling of his son's name, is it Conor (as Wikipedia says)/Connor/Conner?

For me, I need to read more, so I will either buy his book "Clapton, the Autobiography" or rent it from the Library.
