Unrelated material[edit]

Please don't add unrelated material to Wikipedia articles. Note that Offender profiling starts "Offender profiling is a behavioral and investigative tool that helps investigators to profile unknown criminal subjects or offenders." You are adding material about how Canadian authorities trick known suspects into making confessions. The subject may deserve its own article, but it has nothing to do with offender profiling. The template below will help you get started. --CliffC (talk) 03:19, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to Offender profiling. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 03:53, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
