Your 'argument' could apply to any number of other places which appear in that list and which are as equally significant for the place in which they are located rather than for the individual himself. Are you suggesting that being commemorated in the name of an educational establishment, educating children up to and including Muir's age when he left Scotland, in the place of Muir's birth/youth, is of no significance to Muir himself compared to others appearing in that list?2A00:23C1:5384:B400:2D12:8217:6068:DDB4 (talk) 22:06, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

PS Dunbar Primary School is the direct successor to the 'junior' or 'primary' school element of Dunbar Grammar School, where Muir was a pupil; Dunbar Grammar School is now exclusively a 'senior' or 'secondary' school - pupils aged approximately 5-11 years old attend 'primary' school; older pupils attend 'secondary'. It is therefore significant to Muir that part of the current school for children aged 5-11, having developed over time from that attended by Muir himself, now bears his name.2A00:23C1:5384:B400:2D12:8217:6068:DDB4 (talk) 23:07, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

• This discussion should be happening exclusively at Talk:John Muir, but since it isn't, here's the thing: if there is indeed a compelling reason to mention the campus of the school, such as its being a "direct successor" to one Muir attended, you'd need to indicate that and cite a reliable source (preferably a secondary source).
