Tag on a tag on a tag[edit]

Hi, nice to see that you're back from vacation. I want to give you a piece of advice: when you've already added three tags to a page as you did in February on Robby Stewart, then coming back in April to add three more tags to the same article is not actually productive for the encyclopedia. Same thing with Demona, which already had four tags before you decided to add a fifth (and over-rode a revert to add it again).

I can tell that you like adding tags to things, but eventually this kind of behavior is likely to lead you into "disruptive editing" territory. When an editor is exclusively focused on "negative" actions like tagging, content removal and nominating for deletion, they end up spending a lot of time fighting with other editors, un-reverting reverts, and generally annoying people. This often leads to people seeing you as WP:NOTHERE to build an encyclopedia.

I would like to encourage you to find an article that you can add something positive to. You're very interested in notability and secondary sources — why don't you try finding a secondary source, and adding it to an article that needs it? It would give you a fresh perspective on how the encyclopedia works. Toughpigs (talk) 02:21, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
