Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to On the Waterfront, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The title of the film should not be added to the infobox when it is identical to the name of the article. Thank you for your understanding. DonIago (talk) 02:44, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at On the Waterfront, you may be blocked from editing. DonIago (talk) 15:47, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at The Thing (1982 film). As above, please stop populating the name field in the infobox for film articles when the name of the film is essentially identical to the name of the article. @Doniago: Edits are not disruptive. Needed or not, at the end of the day, readers won't notice any difference. So why are we edit warring over something that aesthetically changes nothing? ~~ lol1VNIO (I made a mistake? talk to me) 16:28, 2 September 2022 (UTC); edited 16:32, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. I'll let this editor be your problem then. DonIago (talk) 16:33, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Doniago's assessment that this is disruptive behavior. See also this concurrent discussion. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:18, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
