Re: Ann Dunham[edit]

Your edits were reverted as unsourced POV, however I believe you were deliberately trolling. Anyone who thinks Unitarians are radical Marxists is either one fry short of a happy meal or trying to cause trouble. Perhaps you should actually read your bible for the first time, rather than trying to hit people over the head with it. Viriditas (talk) 03:36, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I think that you fail to realize that these are unbiased facts about Ann Dunham. The church, which you can clearly look up, was referred to as, "the small red church on the hill," and Dunham's high school was highly known for its Marxist leanings. It frustrates me that anytime I try to post facts, such as these, wikipedia just bashes them and gets rid of them. I would like to have a discussion about this outside of these parameters and in a less formal setting. Please contact me by email: yankeefreak127@aim.com. Additionally, yankeefreak127 is my AIM address. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.125.139.18 (talk) 03:51, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The article is a biography about Ann Dunham, not about criticism of the food she ate or the establishments she patronized. If you have good, solid sources for your additions, let's see them, otherwise it appears you are engaging in WP:COATRACKING to demonize Dunham. I do not think it is important to criticize Unitarians or to cite testimony from the House Un-American Activities Committee, which Truman rightly called the "most un-American thing in the country today." Viriditas (talk) 04:00, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If I were to leave citations, would my additions be kept? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.125.139.18 (talk) 05:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That isn't how it works. First, show me the citations you are using. Viriditas (talk) 09:32, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Then why is that when I look at an article, such as that of Zell Miller, it seems that, especially in the middle section about his RNC speech, there is an attempted smear with use of factual evidence? Why is it that in this article it is permitted to use factual evidence to smear someone and not permitted in the Ann Dunham article?
Clearly, the point of wikipedia in terms of specific people, is to briefly reveal who people are. That is done well in the article about Zell Miller, clearly depicting him as a DINO, yet you seem to not permit that in the Ann Dunham article when there are numerous sources that clearly state that not only her church, but also her school had Marxist leanings. What simply angers me about what you continually do with my edits is that you do not let me keep a fact, such is that John Stenhouse was remarked to have said that he was a member of the Communist Party USA. That is a fact and not a biased statement!
Here are a couple of Zell Miller quotes I thought that you should see that clearly reveal who he is: a DINO.
"Miller appeared in an interview with Chris Matthews on the MSNBC show Hardball. Here, Miller became visibly angry."
"Matthews pressed Miller with the question "Do you believe now – do you believe, Senator, truthfully, that John Kerry wants to defend the country with spitballs?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.125.139.18 (talk) 21:55, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What source citations are you using? Please provide author names, source titles, and dates, or links if you like. Viriditas (talk) 02:39, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
With Zell Miller, I'm referring to what is written on the wikipedia page.
Essentially, my point is that there is a clear attempt at a smear towards Zell Miller in his article with the use of factual evidence, whereas whenever I attempt to put facts into the Ann Dunham article, you just remove them.
Secondly, I edited the Brecht Forum article and changed the word, "left" to "left-wing." If you change this back to left, it is clear that wikipedia has fallen to the bias of the media. The organization is Marxist (which is even shown on the front page of their website with pride) for god sake, and it is a non-biased fact to call them left-wing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.10.64.194 (talk) 04:54, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Could you answer my questions, please? Viriditas (talk) 08:12, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I did. I said that the information of Zell Miller came directly from his page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.125.139.18 (talk) 17:18, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'll take a look at it and get back to you. Let's keep the discussion in one place. Viriditas (talk) 02:59, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
