"Obviously correct"? The article makes an assertion, in passive voice, about the subject without any citation, that someone, somewhere considers something to be a certain way. Quit deleting my tags.

Yes, it is obviously true that diversity is beneficial; the article hedges wildly by saying "it is considered to be beneficial ", but that's encyclopaedias for you. There are eleven sources in the article specifically discussing the fact that diversity in children's lit is a good thing, so not exactly "someone, somewhere".
