I am a synthetic chemist specializing in the area of organometallic chemistry and catalysis. As a faculty staff of a university I am equally involved in research as well as education. It is not difficult to guess from my name that my research involves carbenes.

Chemistry in general is my passion and of course I try my best to transfer the knowledge I have to those interested in this amazing subject.

Other than chemistry, my main interest lies in music and literature.
