I'm a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Until 2008, I was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and member of the IBM Academy of Technology, when I left IBM and returned to University to study Buddhism.

I have a Masters degree in Buddhist Studies from SOAS, London University and specialize in Buddhist Esotericism, especially the Guhyasamaja Tantric cycle. I translate texts from Sanskrit and Tibetan.
