Etymology: A combination of the words wok and station (referring to a "food station", or cooker).

Origin: Formulated while trying to develop a fairly-unique screenname for use on various forums and websites, and inspired by looking at a boxed distro of Linux Workstation 6.0 while eating Chinese food some years ago.
