Pure Athlete, Inc.[edit]
Pure Athlete, Inc. is a company that aims to help young athletes become the best version of themselves in sports and in life[1]. Their primary content is a podcast hosted by former Braves player and current MLB play-by-play announcer Jeff Francoeur, as well as the co-founders of the company Britt Lee and Brad Williams. Pure Athlete's mission is based on the experiences and guidances detailed in Lee's book, "Parenting the Pure Athlete." [2]
The trio interviews a new athlete each week in order to gain insight into the current state of sports while maintaining an emphasis on youth athletics. The podcast has welcomed guests from many areas of sports, including Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, former Team USA soccer player Carli Lloyd, MLB players Dansby Swanson and JT Realmuto, NFL players Carson Wentz and Austin Ekeler, and many more[3]. Oftentimes the podcast will welcome specialists in various fields of athletics to offer advice and insight into specific issues that youth athletes might be facing.
