An alphabetic script developed for the language by community elder and author Rohidas Singh Nag was published in late 1980, and has seen limited but increasing use in literature, education, and computing.Rohidas Singh Nag of Chandua, Salbani Village in Mayurbhanj district is the inventor of Munda script Mundari Bani.
