NOTES:

The articles for Groo and Grudge Match were my first Wikipedian contributions, and they're my pride and joy, but I'm the most proud over what happened to the Hobgoblin article after I edited it. It was mostly just a stub with a load of convoluted info about his complex origin. I majorly expanded it, added a comicbox (LOVE those things!) and gave his origin a (mostly) coherent story, and after I did that, suddenly a buttload of incredible writers made my improved version about a hundred times even better! I love Wikipedia and its sense of communal effort.

The other day the SuggestBot suggested a bunch of articles for me to contribute to, two of which I wrote from scratch. Sweet!

Apparently some guy thinks that I'm a Nazi for creating the Hate-Monger article. At one point a vandal changed the article so "Adolf Hitler" read "Jordan Fritz", which is totally not my last name, but it gave me a big laugh. And no, I'm not a Nazi sympathizer. I just decided that taking the most evil man in history and turning him into a purple-clad supervillain was so incredibly out there, it just HAD to be on Wikipedia. God bless Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

I could have saved myself a lot of pain, had I given "Alternative Universes in Archie Comics" a better title. I created it as a placeholder, expecting to expand it someday, but somebody else got to it first and spun this weird theory about how each issue of a comic is its own univers or something. So, they slapped a VFD tag on it and I was up all night editing the article to how I intended it to be, and trying to convince the folks that the other person had nothing to do with what I was trying to do (since the other person's theory constituted original research, a no-no). It survived VFD after my edit, and everybody was very understanding, but I still have nightmares about it to this day.

On the talk page for Fawful, another poster accidentally attributed my revision of the article to some guy named Deco (but it was my fault; I squashed my comment under his and failed to sign my name to it, so she assumed it was all him talking). Not trying to steal Deco's thunder or anything, as he's done way more and better work than I. Just getting credit for what I did, is all.

And I'm so, so, sorry for writing the article for The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe. The edit history is a complete circus, but I guess you could say that I was morbidly fascinated as to what would happen if TMKTMU hit Wikipedia. Sorry!
