Dr. Mohammad Sidiq Sharifzada[edit]

Dr. Mohammad Sidiq Sharifzada (Persian محمد صدیق شریف زاده born March 1928 in Kabul, Afghanistan) is an well known Afghan heart surgeon.

Career[edit]

Dr. Sharifzada was very well known around Kabul for his very reliable services around the grand city of Kabul. He was known for his short temper with nurses and other staff. He was described as a Workaholic within his community often cited as neglecting his personal needs for his patients well being.

Personal Life[edit]

Sharifzada was married to Momina in Kabul, they gave birth to 4 children . In the height of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan the Sharifzada family fled to Pakistan for a short while. The family was very out of place and grew hate for the country. The family later got approved for asylum in Costa Rica where they adapted and learned Spanish. Then eventually moved to Arlington County, Virginia where Sharifzada later passed away in June of 1998 to Unknown Causes
