This is a hagiographical stub about a Dutch hero from the days of yore. You are encouraged to add to it or mock Rob. This is because the Wikipedia is free.

Rob who?[edit]

Rob Mientjes (March 15, 1988) was born in Arnhem, the Netherlands and has since grown quite a lot. He was raised as a native Dutch lad, but apparently he also learned English. This has caused quite a stir and is now considered as one of the more stir-causing moments in Rob's short life. Other such stirs include saying "bullshit" to a teacher and jaywalking in the middle of the night through an empty Nijmegen.

Rob has been wrongly, incorrectly and right out mistakenly attributed—among many things—the defeat of the Saxons, the complete annihilation of a Zionist civilisation and the creation of beetroot. This to his personal distress. He also has not written the Iliad, even though his friends would like you to believe that so they have something to brag about. Bah.

Rob and the Wikipædia[edit]

Rob speaks Dutch as his native language but knows how to order his loaf of bread in English just as easily. He understands intermediate German and French and is able to transcribe Latin and once knew how to deal with Ancient Greek.

After having edited some articles about Dutch and the Netherlands, he decided to dig deeper. Most edits are typo fixes, but additions and factual corrections are good too. Rob's interests include the Internet, photography, music and design, but he knows a fair share about many much more trivial things as well.

True testimonials that are true and really so[edit]

  • "I saw Rob kick a puppy once."—Jason Hoffman
  • "I once misspelled Rob's name for 5 months until I was shamed into editing it."—Chris Cabanillas
  • "My dear friend Rob wrote the Iliad."—Geert Rinkel
  • "BAF!!! "—Rob Mientjes (why??? Because I'm VetCoolFlex)
