The 2024 Tokyo gubernatorial election is scheduled to take place on 7 July, 2024.[1]

It is scheduled to take effect upon the expiration of Governor Yuriko Koike's term on 30 July.[2]

- Shinagawa Ward Electoral District ( Resignation of Rep. Kyoko Morisawa, who contested the 2022 Shinagawa Ward mayoral election)
- Nakano Ward Electoral District ( Resignation of Rep. Chiharu Araki, who contested the 2022 Japanese House of Councillors election)
