Software Engineer

My career in software development spans nearly 30 years, since my early twenties. I was a very experienced Cobol mainframe programmer and CODASYL database administrator for the first 10 years, switching to Unix and later Linux, in the nineties. At the same time moving on to programming languages C/C++, Java, Perl and Oracle (SQL) database administration.
