As one may be able to guess from my contributions, I have a huge dislike for the supposed word "commonest". I want to rid the world of its use, however every time someone quotes it, it will forever go down in history without being able to be edited (unless one takes a leaf out of George Orwell's book ). So help the world by ceasing its use. ;)
