I was previously an employee of the Wikimedia Foundation, but my employment ended on 9/15/15. I'm now just another editor and administrator (and Checkuser) here. I welcome comments on my talk page.
About me
I was the Director of Community Advocacy for the Wikimedia Foundation. In my volunteer capacity, I can usually be found on en:Wikipedia or meta, where I am an elected administrator. I previously was, by virtue of my job, a bureaucrat on the Wikimedia Strategic Planning wiki.
I was a member of the election committee for the Board of Trustees in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and the staff liaison to the committee for 2011 and 2013 elections.
On IRC, my username is usually Philippe.

On en:Wikipedia, I am an administrator (and very much appreciate the support that the community showed in my RfA).
Unrelated to my on-wiki stuff, the important thing to know, I suppose, is that I'm in San Francisco, California.
I have two favorite mottos, which I have stolen from others and have printed on various things: A domino factum est istud et mirabile in oculis nostris. (from Elizabeth I) and Plus est en vous (from various sources in Bourgundy).
