Homer Nievera is a transformer of people into powerhouse performers. [1]He guides executives in future-proofing their business and organizations.

He is a digital transformation expert, a digital evangelist, a startup strategist and a tech visionary.

Homer, also known as “Homerun,” has a knack at flipping tech businesses and creating strategies that amp revenues and valuations of companies.

He helped do this at both Friendster and Multiply when he headed global partnerships and advertising operations for both sites -- the only Filipino to hold such important global posts for those Silicon Valley-type firms.

Homer is a veteran media practitioner with country management and regional postings from broadcast, print and out-of-home businesses. He managed media and advertising teams across ad agencies and big corporations before moving into digital.

He founded two tech firms in the U.S. (in San Francisco and Texas) and sold his interests in early 2014.

Negosentro[edit]

Homer currently heads Negosentro.com and its 30+ content network as its Founder and Group Publisher.

He guides marketing technology solutions company Mediablast Digital as its Chief Strategist, and is also concurrent Chief of Strategy and a Director of IoT firm FAME Inc. He holds directorships in various startups.


Homer is a certified distance educator, a certified viral content marketer, and a digital transformation expert. He speaks and consults on tech entrepreneurship, startups and growth hacking strategy.


He is a graduate of the University of the Philippines in Diliman where he finished his Bachelors in Communication Research and his post-grad in Distance Education.

He has a viral marketing certificate from The Wharton Business School and attended post-graduate programs from the Asian Institute of Management (Startup Management, Entrepreneurship Management) and Harvard University (Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies).

He is currently taking up his post-grad in Social Enterprise at the MIT.
