Obama carries an equivalent meaning as cool. The term sterms from Barack Obama, news have been stating the US president features in the slang dictionary.

Overview[edit]

Obama is first documented in the UCLA Slang 6(UCLA Slang sixth editon), a slang dictionary published by University of California, Los Angeles, orgainized linguistics professor Pamela Munro.

Origin[edit]

The term is first publish in the sixth edition of UCLA Slang along with the 44th and current President of the United States.[1] It is a reference to the President.[2]

Definition[edit]

The definition of the term is cool, as in You are so obama[3], however, the word cool is still included in the same dictionary since people still thinks of it as a slang.[3]
