Danielle Murphy (born February 11,1985) is a active community member in Kitsap County of Washington State. She has been active community member since 2014.
Early Life[edit]
Murphy was born February 11,1985 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She enrolled in Medical Careers Institute in Virginia Beach, Virginia studying to be a nurse. She then got married in 2005 and had her first child in 2006. At that time she became a stay at home mom.
Career[edit]
Murphy first started at the Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia working on the medical-surgical unit for about a year as a LPN. After that year she was a stay at home mom for almost 7 years. Her husband was in the military and they transferred to Poulsbo, Washington were he was stationed. As life situations happen, her family structure changed. She found herself as a single parent and working for Green Living Cleaning Company working in Poulsbo, Washington. Here she cleaned residential and commercial properties. After that year in cleaning she then found herself working at Kitsap Community Resources in Bremerton, Washington as a Family Development Specialist. At this job this is where she found her passion in helping others in connecting them with resources in Kitsap County in Washington State. At this job this is where her passion developed further in helping others in connecting them with resources in Kitsap County in Washington State. At this current time she is attending Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington to obtain her General Associates in hopes to transfer to Western Washington University for her Bachelors degree in Human services.
Personal Life[edit]
In pursing her schooling career, Murphy now lives in Poulsbo, Washington, where she lives with her Fiance, Shannon Turner and their three children Leah (born 2006), Ethan (born 2007) and Sophia (born 2012).
Article Review[edit]
I really enjoy listening to Christian music, learning more about my favorite artists and I am very fascinated by it in general. I love how the music has a way of encouraging me and lifting my spirits. I was interested in seeing if any of my favorite artists could be found on Wikipedia. I came across one of my absolute favorites, Natalie Grant. I visited the Natalie Grant page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: reliable sources, the article being up to date and the completeness of the article.
Reliable Sources[edit]
I was eager to learn more about Natalie Grants life, family and background. However, once I started to read the article I realized that the sources were not reliable. I could fact check the references and found that her biography was not cited appropriately. It took me to a page that could not be found. As I fact checked more of the citations I learned that they were either cited to the artist page, cited incorrectly or the citations were no longer there. I was disappointed to see that only nine out of the nineteen sources were linked in the citations correctly.
Age of Article[edit]
After learning that many of the citations were incorrect, I wondered about the age and upkeep of the article. It appears that the article was started in May of 2006. The article is very active in the beginning, but as time goes on it appears to only have activity four to eight times a month. The last update on the page occurred in September 2017. With this page and its many errors and lack of activity, I have to wonder if people are really doing their due diligence when they are updating this page.
Completeness of the Article[edit]
With looking at the sources and understanding the age of the article, I feel as though the article is not complete. The article could use some cleaning up with regards to its sources. The information is also very limited. As a reader, I would love to have learned more about what she is working on currently, her earlier years and her philanthropy.
Summary[edit]
In conclusion, I would have to rate this article as poor. I feel that it has been neglected and needs some attention so the facts are up to date and correct. I feel the sources, the age and the completeness could use my attention. In the future, I would like to contribute to this Wikipedia page to make corrections and add to its content.
