My name is Nicole. I was born in Buffalo, NY on November 28th 1987. I'm a Senior at the University at Buffalo. I plan to obtain a BA in linguistics with minors in Japanese and Latin.
I have about 6 years of immersion in Japanese music history and have much knowledge on the subject, though I do not consider myself an expert by any means.
Three of my favorite artists are MALICE MIZER, Momoe Yamaguchi and Chiyo Okumura. But I have only really edited the latter (I also started it, though that was before I was a wikipedia member. Strange no Momoe goodness was created prior to then.), and probably will focus mainly on that page as MALICE MIZER has more people with information ready to post about it here. While Momoe has next to no information really avaliable on the general sites.
For my Momoe knowledge, I have been an avid fan of hers more than 6 years now. I have engulfed myself in all the information and music I can get my hands on. I currently own 19 out of her 22 albums and have a romanization site of some of my favorite songs by her.
I just recently started the Chiyo Okumura page on Wikipedia. She is one of my favorite artists, however sadly I know next to none about her. However, I hope to be able to learn more and especially get information at the Japanese Wikipedia's page on her.
